Our client, based in Hawkes Bay, is seeking an experienced hammer hand with their own tools to join their team. The position involves executing building instructions for residential housing projects. We are looking for a motivated, reliable individual who can start as soon as possible and work effectively within a team.

Payrate:
- Payrate dependant on experience.
Duties and tasks required:
- Providing support to carpenters and builders with various on-site tasks
- Contributing to residential housing projects
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assisting with the handling and movement of materials as needed
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
Skills and Attributes required:
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience with hand/power tools - you need to have your own 8-piece hand tools.
- On-site experience either as a hammer hand or apprentice.
- Have completed a pre-trade course or similar and/or some onsite work.
- Must hold at a minimum a restricted licence and your own transport to and from the job.
- Can pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Site Safe is advantageous.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NZ.
