About the Role

An opportunity exists for a Specialist Anaesthetist to join the Bay of Plenty Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora. 

This is a permanent 1.0FTE position however 0.1FTE will be allocated to the Head of Department as a 3 year tenure.  The role will be leading the team based at Whakatāne Hospital with a commitment to supporting services across the Bay of Plenty, including Tauranga Hospital.

You will join a department and location that is experiencing growth. As an experienced leader with a commitment to providing Anaesthesia and Pain Management Services across the Bay of Plenty, you will participate in all parts of service provision including providing care for all age groups, Afterhours, Obstetrics and Acute Care.
