What You'll Do:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of 4-6 phone-based business development managers, creating a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide hands-on training and support, helping the team overcome challenges and develop their skills so they can meet (and exceed!) their goals.

  • Strategic Oversight: Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to spot market trends and seize opportunities that align with their strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the go-between for the BDM team and senior leadership, keeping everyone in the loop while allowing the executives to focus on strategic growth.
  • Market Trends & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry changes and encourage your team to share insights and brainstorm new ideas to improve processes and enhance client experiences.
You’ll know you’re right for this role if you’re…
  • An Experienced Leader: Previous experience managing a sales team, ideally in a remote or hybrid setting. Industry is not important, this could suit someone who has managed a team of recruiters, talent acquisition team, outbound sales or account managers.
  • Coaching and Development: Passionate about helping others grow and hit their performance targets, creating a culture of accountability.
  • Have Strong Relationship Management Skills: A strong communicator who is happy to jump on the phones and lead by example – effective in engaging with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using technology to enhance communication and drive innovation within the team.
What You’ll Get in Return:
  • Great Leadership: Work closely with a dynamic CEO, who values collaboration and partnership, giving you the guidance and autonomy to thrive in their fast-paced industry.
  • Flexibility and Autonomy: The role offers flexibility, empowering you to work in a way that maximizes your productivity and performance.
  • Career Development: Genuine opportunity to grow your career alongside the growth of the business.
  • Company Culture: Join a team that’s innovative, collaborative, and genuinely cares about making a difference in their industry.
  • Financial Rewards: A competitive base salary and an uncapped commission structure tied to both individual and team performance, giving you the chance to maximize your earning potential.
