About the role and opportunity:
As the Head of Psychosocial Safety and Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the global strategy for mental health and wellbeing. This is your chance to make a real impact, leading the development and implementation of psychosocial safety initiatives that foster a culture of care, resilience, and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global frameworks, standards, and toolkits to enhance psychosocial safety and wellbeing.
- Build capability within key stakeholders, including H&S and People & Culture teams, to drive effective wellbeing initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to psychosocial safety-related investigations and ensure best practice interventions.
- Oversee key psychological support programs.
- Influence and collaborate with senior leaders to embed a culture that prioritises mental health and wellbeing.
- Lead a team of subject matter experts, delivering a high-impact work programme aligned with strategic goals.
You are a highly experienced and successful leader in psychosocial safety and wellbeing, with a passion for driving cultural change and building organisational capability.
We anticipate the successful candidate will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in psychology or a wellbeing-related field.
- Significant experience leading psychosocial safety and wellbeing initiatives in large, complex organisations.
- Expertise in developing and executing long-term change programs.
- The ability to coach and develop teams, fostering strong relationships across all levels.
- A deep understanding of Health and Safety regulatory requirements and best practices in psychosocial risk management.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel.
