Our Opportunity

 

Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatū, Horowhenua and Tararua regions. With a large hospital campus in Palmerston North, it also provides key health care and support services to neighbouring communities.

 

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking to recruit health care assistants to work in our Rehabilitation and Older Adult Mental Health wings within STAR Palmerston North.

 

Various FTE is available, working rotating shifts, (including nights and weekends), across the two specialty wings, with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and skill set to work across either discipline.

 

Applications are sought for individuals who will demonstrate a passion for working in both the Rehabilitation and Older Adult Mental Health environment.

 

The roles will involve working alongside those who require physical and psychological health care. Successful candidates will be working in a supportive, patient centered, multi-disciplinary focused area with access to appropriate training and development opportunities.
