The Opportunity

Ward 29 – Surgical Services Palmerston North Hospital is looking for a dedicated, compassionate person who is passionate about making a difference.

 

The role we currently have is permanent, 28 hours per week, working rostered shifts.

 

The role of the HCA is to assist Regulated Clinical Health Professionals in providing care which is safe, economic and of the highest quality possible and to provide a high standard of environmental cleanliness and to assist with non-nursing duties associated with patient care.

 

About you

To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate:

•An understanding of direction & delegation

•An ability to work with a wide range of people

•A strongly developed customer focus

•An ability to be highly organised

•Knowledge of Infection Control & Health & Safety

•Professional behaviour and presentation
