Health, Safety and Wellbeing Partner
Te Tūāpapa Kura Kāinga - The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) leads Aotearoa | New Zealand's housing and urban development work programme.

Working closely with the General Manager, People & Community as the only Health, Safety & Wellbeing specialist for the organisation, you will:
- Drive the way we manage health, safety and wellbeing, partnering with people across all levels of the Ministry to foster a safe, healthy and positive workplace environment
- Partner with others to evolve our health, safety and wellbeing frameworks, policies and processes, balancing legislative compliance with organisational needs
- Partner with others in the design, delivery and improvement of fit-for-purpose health, safety and wellbeing initiatives
- Manage the health, safety and wellbeing work programme and the Ministry's worker participation processes
- Provide assurance and insights for improvement to senior leaders, governance groups, and worker committees as appropriate

We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in strategic and operational health, safety and wellbeing work programme management
- Strong relationship skills, with a a track record for partnering with others at all levels of an organisation to design, deliver and improve health and safety frameworks, approaches and initiatives
- Strong technical expertise in health, safety and wellbeing, with good judgement around what's important, and a practical approach to risk management
- A natural instinct to use data and insights to identify areas for improvement, and to provide assurance to senior leaders that we are fostering a safety, healthy and positive workplace environment.
