Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Health Care Assistant to join our Emergency Department - this is a rare and exciting opportunity.

The Health Care Assistant is a vital, equal value member of the department who plays a pivotal role in efficient and effective running of ED.

This role has rostered and rotating shifts including night shift.

Moū - About you

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Excellent organisational skill.
• A friendly disposition and excellent communication skills.
• Successfully completed the Health Care Assistant or Health Support Assistant training or a NZQA approved National Certificate in Support of the Older Person ( level 3 ) or a National Certificate in Community Support Services (level 3).
• Ability to work as a member of the team.
• Customer focus.
