Drake Medox Auckland is looking for a dedicated and motivated Kaimahi Hauora/Homecare Support Worker to join our team!
About the Role
As a Kaimahi Hauora/Support Worker, you will be providing essential support to our client. Guided by our core values, you will help create a supportive, respectful, and safe environment for our clients.
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate and energetic person who is eager to empower our client to live fully and access their wider community. If you are fit, positive, outgoing and have the ability to work independently and within a team this is the opportunity for you!
Support Activities:
- Daily personal cares
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Community outings and social activities
Shifts available
- Mornings, afternoons and overnight shifts, on weekdays and weekends.
- Availability to provide relief support as required.
- Willingness to travel both locally and around Auckland to provide cares for our clients.
Requirements:
* Full driver's license and clean driving record
* Fluency of English is essential
* The right to work in New Zealand
* Experience in support work is preferable, but training is provided
* NZQA Level 3 or 4 qualification is preferred
