Hub Manager - Night Shift

Our client is a prominent player in the freight industry with branches across New Zealand. They are looking for an experienced Hub Manager to join the Taupo Branch.

About the role:

This is a full-time night shift position 5pm to 2am, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the Taupo team with all policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the nightly operations meet the company's objectives and requirements.
• Accountable for the goals and results from the branch.
• Communicating effectively with all staff, internal & external contractors, and other branches.
• Provide training to current and new staff, as well as internal and external contractors to encourage optimal growth and productivity.
• Keeping up to date with schedules and managing performance issues effectively.
• Working closely with and reporting to the national manager.
• Maintaining costs within budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transport requirements.
• Previous experience in Transport of Logistics.
• Familiar with Human Resource processes.
• Confident Forklift Operator with F endorsement and OSH certificates.
• First Aid Certificate holder.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in developing systems and paperwork trials.
