IAM Capability Lead (CIAM/Authentication) – Technology Security and Identity
Full time, Permanent position

It is an exciting time to be at MSD and we are seeking an experienced and passionate IAM (Identity and Access Management) Capability Lead to join us and be a key player in our Technology Security and Identity practice, driving innovative solutions in a dynamic environment.

This opportunity is available within MSD's Technology Security, and Identity Team, which is responsible for leading technology security and identity architecture and design, driving the execution, and fostering a culture change for cyber capabilities to be suitable for tactical and emerging needs for MSD's organizational transformation.
As an IAM Capability Lead (Client Identity and Access Management/Authentication), you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of IAM within MSD. Your role is pivotal in bridging the gap between enterprise aspirations and innovative technology solutions, ensuing that our IAM capabilities not only meet but exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities | Ngā kawenga matua
- Design, develop and maintain IAM (CIAM and Authentication) capabilities, ensuring effective and resilient solutions.
- Support the Practice Manager, Identity and Access to deliver IAM Solutions.
- Champion DevSecOps practices to instil a culture of continuous delivery and innovation.
- Provide guidance and support to delivery teams, with a primary focus on technical roadmaps, capabilities and delivery outcomes.
- Planning and securing the necessary resources, cultivating an environment where every team member can thrive.
- Maintain and enhance relationship with operational vendors and partners, ensuring that our service delivery is optimized and meets organisational goals.

Skills and Experiences I He pūkenga tōu
To thrive as the IAM Capability Lead, you will need a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision. You will bring:
- Significant experience in IAM (CIAM and Authentication) specialisms within large, complex organisations.
- Strong technical understanding of IAM to lead system delivery, governance, operations and maintenance.
- Proven ability to engage clients effectively, particularly in IAM disciplines, with strong advisory skills.
- Experience in collaborating with business units on workflows, cost estimates, delivery timelines and reporting.
- Familiarity with technology strategy and developing roadmaps to ensure IAM deliverables align with organisational goals.
- Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing project outcomes.
- Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor staff and peers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.

Salary range: $136,420.00 - $169,767.00
