Job Description
Our client is a leader in the Food & Beverage space. They are a well-established, stable business with a well-known brand and a happy work environment.
They have a new position available in their plant in the New Plymouth / Taranaki area, where you will be joining a young, vibrant team of specialists. The focus of your role will be all things electrical across the plant, from installation, maintenance, to upgrade and projects.
Some of your responsibilities include:

Some of your responsibilities include:
- Fault finding and repair of all electrical equipment, lighting and control systems.
- Installation of electrical cables and equipment according to NZ standards
- Maintaining all single and three phase electrical equipment and systems on site.
- Ensuring all equipment and installations on the plant are safe for use.
- Costing and assessing viability of new products
- Getting involved with new projects on the plant
- Qualified Electrician with EWRB licence (or working towards this)
- 3-5 years’ experience as an industrial electrician working in a plant environment
- Ideal experience would be working a food and beverage / packaging / manufacturing plant

- Solid experience with electrical systems, electronics, process control and automation.
- Preference for a New Zealand resident or citizen
