Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role

This role is permanent, and based in Wellington at Tari Matua, ERO's National Office.

Reporting to the Manager Information Services, your focus is on supporting the Lead Information Advisor and the Information Management team. You'll have input to ERO's digital and physical recordkeeping and will build strong relationships with staff across the Department.

We see you bringing a working knowledge of public recordkeeping, familiarity with modern Enterprise technologies, experience with an EDRMS approach to digital information management, and a positive and outgoing attitude to the role and team.

The key focus for the next 6-12 months is supporting the Lead Information Advisor in developing ERO's Information Asset Register and reviewing and refreshing our SharePoint Online environment (including ERO's intranet), as well as supporting business-as-usual activities in the Information Services space.

We want to hear about any of the following in your cover letter and CV:

  • Experience in a similar role that included a large component of public recordkeeping and working in a digital information management environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 (specifically SharePoint Online and MS Teams, including at administrator level) and performing maintenance and development tasks in SharePoint from a public recordkeeping perspective.
  • Examples of key relationships you've built in workplaces and how and why those relationships are important.
  • Where you've demonstrated leadership, e.g., led by example, demonstrated problem solving, owned a project or piece of work, spoken up for yourself or others.
  • Where you've demonstrated customer centricity, collaborated with others, invited feedback, and spent time with diverse people and communities to broaden your views.
  • Where you've shown curiosity and tried new things, taken on other perspectives, challenged the norm, learned, and applied or shared your learnings.
  • Your knowledge and experience (for example, mātauranga Māori, fluency in te reo, understanding of tikanga and applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi in a work setting), or willingness to learn about Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and tikanga, te Reo and Te Ao Māori.
  • How you've demonstrated, encouraged, or supported diversity and inclusion in or outside of work.
