Contract: Permanent, Full Time Intake & Assessment Clinician (Social Worker, Nurse, Occupational Therapist)
Salary: As Per MECA determined by experience Allied $77087 - $107,600K / Nursing $75773-$106,739K
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
The Intake and Assessment Clinician - s role is pivotal in working collaboratively with the CAMHS team, MHAIDS teams and other service providers to access the most appropriate service and support for the young person and their whanau based on their needs. CAMHS is committed to the use of the CAPA model which is a continuous service improvement model that combines personalised care and collaborative practice when partnering with service users and their family/whanau.
You will be triaging referrals from a variety of sources in the community, liaising with relevant services to ensure young people receive safe, high quality and equitable care.

We have a diverse population in wellington and co work alongside other teams in mental health & the Community. Moū - About you
You will be an experienced registered mental health professional (Allied Health or Nursing) with at least 5 years of recent work experience in a DHB mental health service, an up to date annual practicing certificate, and experience in mental health triage and risk assessment.
This role is open to a Registered Mental Health Professional: Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, who has skills and expertise in assessment, ideally has worked with children, adolescents and their families, bi-cultural and multi-cultural work practices, and community liaison.
