Ara whiwhi mahi - The opportunity
Utilise your strong analytical and relationship management skills to join our team. You will be working in a small team that provides data analytics and insights that informs the development and implementation of our international compliance strategies.
While the role is primarily data focused, you will also be responsible for working with other specialists within the team to deliver compliance initiatives, bringing your knowledge and experience to help tailor our approaches to target potential non-compliance.
Mōu - About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a confident communicator who is comfortable with producing high quality analysis and written material to meet the needs of a diverse group of users. You will be highly numerate with the ability to think laterally and logically. Tax knowledge and experience is desirable, but not necessary.
You will have the following:
- Experience in working with and analysing data and information to generate insights
- Able to work collaboratively within a team to develop solutions that deliver the right outcomes for customers
- Strong written communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to articulate analysis and related recommendations clearly and succinctly for a variety of audiences
- General awareness of the NZ economic environment would be valuable, especially familiarity with and knowledge of multinational enterprises
- The ability to think strategically and laterally
- Aptitude to learn and use various analytical systems and tools. Practical experience with SQL is preferrable
- A strong work ethic with a can-do attitude, proven ability to meet deadlines and good relationship management skills
