Position
The company is looking to hire an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor. With a number of projects underway in Auckland and upcoming ones in the pipeline, now couldn't be a better time to get on board with a company with a family driven culture and career development prospects.

The person
The Intermediate QS who secures this position will have a minimum of 3-4 years experience with good tenures and experience of working on interior fit-out projects from end-to-end; this experience will have been gained in New Zealand. NZ experience and immediate NZ work rights are absolutely essential in order to be considered for this position.

Experience required
The following experience and competencies are required for this position:

• 3-4 years experience of working on commercial interiors projects in New Zealand as a QS
• Managing costs through the entire project life cycle on design and build projects
• Experience in cost planning, BoQ preparation, measuring cost plans and contract administration
• Providing accurate commercial advice to the Project Management Director and Project Managers
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, a professional and friendly attitude.
• A relevant tertiary education in construction cost management, quantity surveying or similar.
