This is a medium sized contractor with a project profile encompassing new builds commercial to $12M, interiors and fit outs as well as multiple education projects. They are a well established family business with over 30 years experience delivering projects through up and down cycles of the construction sector. They also have major maintenance and smaller works projects for some clients.
They are now looking for an intermediate QS that is interested in working for a major client performing a range of project work across new builds, interiors and fit out retail work.
As a QS you will be involved in post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors final accounts and reporting to directors.
As an applicant, you have:
- 4+ years of QS experience either in a main contractor or an interiors company with a strong understanding of contract administration
- Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
- You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical
- A team player and with a sense of humour at times
Salary $100K - $120K + car parking
