Our client is a prominent vegetation management company that specializes in providing services such as tree trimming, line clearance, and vegetation control for utility and energy companies, helping to ensure the reliability and safety of power distribution systems. 
  
At present, we are looking for a Utility Arborist with a safety-conscious, detail-oriented personality and a strong sense of responsibility for maintaining the health of trees while preventing potential hazards to utility lines. 
  
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Cut Down & Prune Large Trees & Hedges Efficiently & Safely. 
• Climb Trees Using Ropes & Specialized Equipment To Perform Maintenance Or Removal. 
• Operate Tools & Machinery Such As Chainsaws, Chippers & Cherry Pickers. 
• Apply Comprehensive Knowledge Of Health & Safety Protocols In All Tasks. 

Successful candidates must hold a clean full NZ class 1 license with an EWP certificate. Prior relevant qualification in this area OR proven relevant experience is an advantage. Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test or MOJ check if required. Open to all NZ Citizens / Residents and with open work visas.
