Job Description

Our client is a NZ owned market leader in Funds Administration and Wealth Management. They are technology orientated and always innovating. They are extremely well established and growing every day but manage to maintain a great atmosphere.

We are looking for a talented Accounting graduate ideally with 1-3 years financial services experience. This experience can be within banking or wealth management / administration. This position is a great role to learn the ropes and grow and develop upwards from there.

The role involves:

  • Ensure investment instructions are proper and complete
  • Process investor applications
  • Process investor redemptions
  • Set-up new investor accounts
  • Maintain all investor/ client details
  • Process rebalancing instructions
  • Process distributions
  • Send bank payment instructions
  • PIE tax filing (once trained)

Other tasks:

  • Liaise with clients effectively
  • Maintain records as required to ensure the administration process is transparent to client’s regulators and external auditors
  • Log any incidents

To be suitable for this role you should be interested in the stock market / investment arena, have a super keen eye for detail, and ideally be degree qualified. We also need this person to have a people orientated personality – solid communication skills. This is due to the interaction with external high level clients.
