Job Description

Blended role of Investment advice and Leadership. Be on the tools as well as mentor, train and eventually grow the team, growing your career too!

As the Team Manager of 8 – 10 Financial Advisers, you'll use your previous experience as a leader and financial adviser to coach, mentor and develop the existing team of financial advisers as well as recruit and bring on new advisers over the next few years. While the team are smaller in size, you will also manage your own portfolio of investment clients.
  
This newly created role will include;
  
People leadership

  • Provide training and mentoring sessions to enhance adviser’s existing skill levels – some travel will be required as Advisers are based nationally.
  • Lead and support Financial Advisers to achieve targets and ensure their clients receive exceptional customer service.
Advisory
  • Regularly review client portfolios and update on market trends and performance.
  • Analyse clients' goals, risk tolerance, and finances to create tailored investment strategies.
  • Perform risk assessments to shape recommendations and protect client assets.
Operational
  • Collaborate with other teams to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes
Strategic Focus
  • Prepare detailed reports and strategic plans to optimise team performance.
  • Implement client acquisition strategies through networking, referrals, and marketing.
  • Grow your team of advisers across all the regional offices

  • Been a financial adviser previously to share your invaluable experience and insights
  • Strong people leadership skills – mentored, trained or led others
  • Obtained your Level 5 financial services certification in Investments
  • Clear credit and police check
