Drake Medox is a well established home community support supplier providing support to those with life impacting complex injury and disability support needs. New to Canterbury 2025!
We are looking for casual, experienced support workers/kaimahi hauora to join our new Christchurch team.
As a Support Worker/Kaimahi Hauora, you'll be at the forefront of providing essential support to our client with complex support needs. Your role will involve delivering personalized, Kiritaki (client) centered support in their home and within the community. Guided by our core values, you'll help create a supportive, respectful, and culturally safe environment championing individuals on their journey.
Skill Requirement
- Previous experience as a support worker preferably supporting those with complex needs.
- Strong communication in English
- Ability to work independently and with a team, working collaboratively with others
- Working towards or already holding a NZQA Level 2 Health and Wellbeing Certificate
- Respectful, adaptable, proactive, professional and trustworthy.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and needs associated with living with a life impacted by injury or disability.
- A full driver's license, a clean police vet result, and satisfactory references.
- The right to work in New Zealand and Canterbury based.
