Mō te Tūranga - About the role

Crown Law is seeking a dynamic Chief Advisor to support our Deputy Chief Executive in a key advisory role. While supporting across the full range of functions, your main initial focus will be on security governance, security risk management, and information management oversight. You will lead our Records Management function and design and implement a new information management strategy

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting the DCE with organisational awareness and assurance activities. Working from a base of strong relationship building, you will provide insight and advice on a range of matters and facilitate effective solutions to urgent or ongoing issues, acting as a representative of the DCE when needed

You will also work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, championing collaboration and facilitating the implementation of key decisions while engaging with our talented team of kaimahi and vital stakeholders

Te Whanganui-a-Tara - Wellington

This role is Wellington based and located next to Wellington bus and train station

  • Experience with information management, security, and privacy frameworks, policies, assurance and assessment tools
  • Ability to develop policies, frameworks, tools, and training materials to promote a culture of strong information governance and responsible information use
