Kitchen assistant/Driver

We have an exciting opportunity working for a small business who is passionate about their job of providing lunches in schools. Our client is on the hunt for a delivery driver/kitchen assistant. Based in Hastings, this assignment is a fixed term role from Monday 14th October through till 24th December. Ideally the candidate would be available for 2 training days during the week of September 23rd to 27th.

The kitchen assistant/delivery driver role involves delivering lunches to local schools and dish washing.  We are looking for a self-starter who can work efficiently and independently. The successful applicant will be physically fit and capable,  have a proven work ethic, strong communication skills and will thrive in a busy and fast paced environment.  Having a strong awareness of good hygiene and food safety practices is also required. 

Hours:

11.30am - 4.30pm approx, Every weekday during school terms.

Payrate:

$28.00

Skills and Attributes:

• Must hold Full Driver's License. 
• Physically fit and be a team player.
• Positive, keen, and friendly attitude who is great at creating workplace relationships.
• Will be required to undertake a Ministry of Justice background check and have a clean history.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
