Service: Nutrition & Food Service
Contract: Fixed term, Full-time position available (5 months)
Korero mō te tūranga| About the role
We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our busy kitchen, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Your responsibilities will include meal service, food preparation, dishwashing and general cleaning.
Key responsibilities:
- To work collegially with the team of kitchen assistants and cooks
- To ensure the kitchen is organised and maintained in accordance with personal hygiene standards and food control plan at all times
- Customer service
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment promptly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with the team to uphold a high standard of food quality and presentation
On the job training will be provided.

- You have a food safety certificate
- You have previous food service experience
