Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Learning Designer to support our client through their system update project. This is a hands-on contract role where you’ll be responsible for designing engaging and effective learning content to support users through a significant update to their Oracle system.
  
What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and developing digital learning materials to support Oracle system updates.
  • Creating online learning modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline – including content for Fire Warden training, Fleet Car usage, and Finance processes.
  • Developing new employee and new manager digital onboarding resources using Rise.
  • Designing infographics to support initiatives like the leadership pathway and team culture programmes.
  • Supporting the creation of other digital learning assets such as video tutorials and quick reference guides.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are aligned with business needs.
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Learning Designer, ideally supporting large-scale system implementations or organisational change.
  • Expertise in Articulate 360 – both Rise and Storyline essential, Moodle experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, engaging format.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence working with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Start ASAP
  • Duration: 3 months (potential to extend), part time could be considered too
  • Location: Waikato-based (some hybrid flexibility)
