Job Description
A global Cloud and IT MSP that has set up a North Shore office is looking to hire a Level 2 Engineer
to join their team of 80+ engineers across the UK, US and Europe.
You'll be part of a team delivering a “follow-the-sun” service across their global client base. This role is shift-based
(details below) with daily handovers to/from your northern hemisphere colleagues.
The Role
Delivering a wide variety of solutions and services to clients, this role includes:
- Level 2 support, troubleshooting, monitoring and configuring systems
- Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service
- Proactive upgrades and patching
- Maintaining and contributing to the internal knowledge base of technical documentation and SOPs
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and areas for service delivery improvement
- 4+ years' relevant experience as a Microsoft L2 Engineer
- Experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, Active Directory Technologies, Server Technologies, Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with cloud tech (Azure, O365, Exchange Online)
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools
- Some experience with Enterprise Infrastructures and Data Centre Environments
- 12-hour days, 4 days on / 4 days off
- These will be office-based days, working either 7 to 7 (winter hours) or 8 to 8 (summer hours)
- Monthly paid Shift Allowance on top of base salary
