Te Whatu Ora, Health New Zealand, leads the day-to-day running of our health system across New Zealand, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. We are seeking a Locum Radiologist to join our dynamic team to start as soon as possible. As a locum radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic imaging services and interpreting medical images for our patients. This position offers flexibility and the potential of permanent employment. If you are a newly qualified Specialist looking to broaden your skills or a Specialist with broad skills who now wishes to apply them in a new setting, then we want to hear from you.
The Team
Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is home to a busy radiology service based at Christchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary centre in the South Island. The service also encompasses several other sites including Christchurch Women - s and Burwood hospitals. Our new hospital houses state of the art equipment and offers a varied case mix including local and regional, general and subspecialty work. Our mix of general and subspecialty trained radiologists work closely together with a supportive team culture being a strength of our service.
If you have an academic interest, Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is affiliated with the Otago Medical School affording the opportunity to contribute to undergraduate training. Te Whatu Ora is also part of the new health precinct Te Papa Hauora, a creative and inspiring network that integrates world-class healthcare, research and innovation, education and industry with a strong emphasis on population health based in Christchurch.
