Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Planner to join their engineering team in East Tamaki. You will be guiding a team and ensuring preventative maintenance activities are completed, ensuring smooth operation of all facility equipment and systems.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning and scheduling all maintenance (R&M) jobs
  • Monitoring and reporting on maintenance backlog
  • Contractor management and vendor coordination
  • Assisting with spares management and parts ordering
  • Data collaboration, analysis and reporting for future improvements
  • Assisting with spares management and ordering parts
  • Assigning WO's to trades and tracking progress

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning, with budgeting and expenditure management experience (or a strong trade background with an interest to learn)
  • CMMS experience and high computer literacy
  • Understanding of RCM maintenance principles, R&M process development and master data
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
