Manager Enterprise Information Security (EIS) Operations

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is the heart of Aotearoa New Zealand's cyber defence. We fulfil the cyber security responsibilities of the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki, to detect and disrupt high-impact cyber threats for nationally significant organisations.

The role
The Enterprise Information Security Group (EISG) sits within the NCSC and is responsible for the delivery of information security services to the GCSB and NZSIS.
EISG is building our Information Security Operations Centre (ISOC), along with new cyber security operations capabilities for the enterprise. As Manager EIS Operations, you will have the opportunity to design, build and deliver these capabilities and lead the awesome team that forms our ISOC.
The role requires cyber security operations experience and an ability to balance people leadership and stakeholder management while securing technology from both internal and external threats. This position offers broad responsibility, autonomy and a high degree of engagement with technology practitioners and senior stakeholders.
Appointment range for this position is $168,953 - $180,217

Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years - Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
