About our group

The People Group ensures MSD has the organisation, people and culture capability to deliver on the Government's outcomes and priorities.  We provide strategic and operational support through a full suite of HR strategies, policies, procedures and services.  We are a collaborative team who provide great service and continuous improvement within a progressive, constructive culture. 

About the role

We have a new opportunity to lead the HR Advisory function that is responsible for providing the connections between Advisory, our AskHR, and our Employment Relations and Business Partnership teams.


About you 

You'll need to have a passion for leading, developing and motivating teams with demonstrated career experience that includes: 

  • leadership and management experience i.e. building high performing teams and developing people
  • a strong background and applied knowledge of HR/ER processes and practice
  • the ability to build trusting relationships and influence stakeholders (internal and external) at senior/executive levels
  • a history of striving for service delivery continuous improvement
  • an in-depth understanding of organisational issues and HR/ER legislative requirements
  • a commitment to excellent customer service, through collaboration and teamwork
     

This is a pivotal role within the People Group.  Reporting to the Director ER, Advisory & Remuneration it's an excellent career move for a motivated and dedicated HR professional.

Salary range: $141,109.00 - $175,603.00
