Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
The Manager, Integrity Services plays an important part in leading a multi-disciplinary business unit developing and implementing risk-based strategies that are aimed at the on-going and pro-active prevention and reduction of fraud to ACC.
It requires focus on a broad scope including the planning, prevention, detection and response to external fraud.
Through collaborating with leaders across Service Delivery, you will play a key part in embedding first-line assurance and fraud prevention behavioural practices in our client and claims management systems, raising the profile of the integrity function which will result in a significant increase in the level of external fraud risk awareness within ACC.
You will play a key part in a 'whole of organisation' approach to driving improved performance in ACC's counter -fraud strategy with particular focus on identifying new service strategies that maximise opportunities, minimise risks and facilitate the achievement of the ACC performance outputs.
This role will Implement and support a culture that places our kiritaki at the forefront of all undertakings; through developing and leading the delivery of the counter-fraud strategy to the wider team to ensure understanding of business outcomes and expected behaviour.
Mōu | About you
To be successful in the role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge in the development of organisational wide strategy & deployment of anti-fraud strategies and operational plans within large, decentralised teams.
- Track record of success in leadership within customer-focused large and complex environments.
- Demonstrable success in team leadership & management ability.
- Success in leading teams who carry out investigative processes and techniques, in particular relating to best practice initiatives to manage fraud risks.
- Experience leading teams leveraging data and analytical tools to transform information into insight.
- Excellent communication, project management and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality outputs on time and to budget.
- Operational knowledge of data mining and intelligence management tools desirable.
- Knowledge and application of the Crimes Act 1961, ACC legislation, Human Rights Act, Privacy Act, Private Investigators and Security Guards Act legislation is desirable but not essential.
- Proven performance in the application of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi for the design of policies, systems, and processes.
- Demonstrate commitment to Huakina Te Rā through embedding our Ngā Pae Ārahi principles, and actively leading/working on mahi that moves ACC towards achieving the Whāinga Matua | goals of our enterprise strategy.
