Manager, Professional Development
Audit New Zealand is the leading provider of audit and assurance services to the public sector. We're committed to delivering the highest quality service to our clients.
We're looking for a Manager, Professional Development to manage a programme of work involving the professional capability, development, and competency of Audit New Zealand's auditors.
You'll be responsible for managing all professional development matters – liaising with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and relevant professional bodies on our auditors' Chartered Accountant qualifications, working with senior professional staff and external training providers, and delivering our annual Professional Development Programme.
To succeed in this role, you'll have:
- a strategic perspective and the ability to apply it to business plans;
- the ability to develop good working relationships with individuals and groups inside and outside the office;
- excellent relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to make connections between and with people;
- a proven track record of applying effective teaching skills to professional development in a professional services organisation;
- the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; and
- knowledge of the accounting profession, qualification frameworks, and the requirements and challenges of continuing professional development.

The expected salary range is between $125,000 and $140,000.
