Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
Our Property team work to provide buildings and work environments at ACC that are fit for purpose, modern and flexible, safe and secure, efficient to operate, compliant, pleasant to work in/visit that support our people and visitors.
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in this newly created position as Manager, Property Project Management. Reporting to the Head of Property, this role is responsible for the delivery of ACCs Property capital works, ensuring that delivery aligns with property strategy, and industry best practice. This could be anything from end-to-end project management of new builds to relocations, or refurbishments on existing properties.
The Manager, Property Project Management provides technical leadership, oversight and support to the internal and external property project managers delivering the project works, along with ensuring the property project management, planning, reporting, financials and governance requirements are aligned with the overall project objectives.
This is a permanent role, based in Wellington.
The base salary range is $117,787-$166,288 with appointment within the range depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

We're looking for a positive and energetic people leader who can role model strong and inspirational leadership. You'll have excellent interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills, a natural curiosity for identifying better ways of working and the ability to drive high performance in a collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive demonstrated Property Project delivery and management experience from within a large, diverse organisation with a nationally distributed property portfolio.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with significant proven experience in managing and developing high-performing Property Project Management teams.
- A tertiary level qualification in Property Project Management, construction or a relevant related discipline.
- A strong grasp of the risk, legal and financial aspects of property.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sound understanding of, or a willingness to develop knowledge of, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and proven ability to integrate Te Tiriti o Waitangi into the design of policies, systems, and processes in a property context.
