Our Review and Improvement Services group (RIS) at Education Review Office are currently seeking two new Managers to join their group. RIS work with English-medium schools and their communities to review and report on the quality of education in Aotearoa New Zealand. The work of RIS is underpinned by the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, and that Māori enjoy and achieve education success as Māori. Mō tēnei tūranga | About this role
Salary range $126,175 - $147,805 negotiable + superannuation
This role is permanent, based from one of our regional offices. Reporting to the Director Schools, Review and Improvement Services your focus is to provide leadership to support the delivery of high quality education reviews and evaluations of schools.
You will work as part of a small collaborative team of Managers across New Zealand and oversee an operational portfolio of work aligned to Review and Improvement Services strategic intentions. The role includes leadership of a group of Evaluation Partners, their evaluation practice and oversight of their portfolio of schools. We see you bringing strong organisational and interpersonal skills to the role and team. Capability using digital systems and processes to communicate and collaborate and the ability to adapt, innovate and think strategically are key requirements. The focus for the next 6-12 months is refining and embedding the ways we work nationally, so that all schools experience consistently high-quality evaluation practice.
