ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Marketing Assistant is a key support role within the marketing team, focused on assisting the National Marketing Manager in the execution of marketing activities for Drake Medox. This role is primarily administrative, with an emphasis on merchandising coordination, event planning, and supporting the execution of social media strategies. The successful candidate will have prior marketing experience and be comfortable handling various marketing and administrative tasks. While the role is dedicated to Medox, there may be occasional support required for the core business as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Marketing Support & Administration:
- Provide overall support to the marketing team, assisting with the execution of marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution of marketing merchandise, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items align with brand guidelines.
- Assist with the development and organisation of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and promotional items.
Event Coordination:
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, such as client events, staff functions, seasonal celebrations and other gatherings.
- Liaise with vendors, book venues, and manage event logistics to ensure seamless execution.
- Organise and distribute event materials, signage, and branded merchandise, and all other coordination to ensure successful events.
Social Media Management:
- Manage Drake Core, Drake Medox and WellbeingHub social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and monitoring engagement.
- Support the creation of graphics, videos, and other content in Canva to align with marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor social media performance and provide basic reporting on engagement and growth.
KPIs:
- Merchandise Coordination: Ensure efficient management of marketing materials and merchandise stock levels.
- Event Execution: Successfully coordinate and support events, ensuring smooth logistics and positive attendee feedback.
- Social Media Management: All channels are kept up to date with campaign, recruitment and seasonal material, as defined by the National Marketing Manager.
- Administrative Efficiency: Provide timely and organised marketing support to ensure seamless operations.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least one previous role in a marketing-related position.
- Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and supportive approach.
- Experience in event coordination or merchandising is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
