Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Mata Ahupae - School Administrator to join Te Kōkī - The New Zealand School of Music, on a permanent, full-time contract.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of administrative support to the staff and students of the New Zealand School of Music
  • Ensure the day-to-day activities of Te Kōkī - New Zealand School of Music run effectively and efficiently

Ō pūmanawa - About you

You are an enthusiastic lover of music, a team player, ready to take on a myriad of tasks to support the students and staff of Te Kōkī - New Zealand School of Music through their degree path and the day-to-day activities of this busy School.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience and excellence in customer service and office administration, providing administrative services in a busy office
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written including a consistently high level of clarity and accuracy evident in all written material produced
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in order to manage competing and changing priorities and establishing and achieving deadlines
