  • Meade Clinical Centre, Waikato Hospital.
  • 24 hours per week including a Saturday
  • Fixed Term Maternity Cover – February 2025 – August 2025

About the Role

We are seeking a Receptionist/Booking Clerk to join our team in providing accurate and efficient operation and maintenance of the administration system.



About the Team

Providing Outpatient Clinic support with reception and bookings in the busy Meade Clinical Centre. The Centre is comprised of a diverse range of specialty outpatient clinics, and services up to 800 patients per day.



About you

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly attitude
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong administration and computer skills, previous administration and hospital system experience would be an advantage but are not essential as training will be provided.
  • To be innovative and flexible with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • To be flexible with working hours. Earliest start time 7.30am, latest finish time 5.00pm.
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
