Mechanical Engineer

Tradestaff are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join us for an immediate start!

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial or HVAC sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting purposes.
• Strong technical knowledge of boilers, burners, pumps, and related industrial equipment.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineering of heating, cooling, and process equipment solutions based on client requirements and project specifications.
• Conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new product developments or improvements.
• Collaborating with Sales and Service teams to provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases.
• Performing calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure equipment performance and efficiency.
• Overseeing the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems on-site.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to mechanical equipment and systems.
• Providing training and technical guidance to customers, agents, and distributors.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including manuals and specifications.
• Participating in regular meetings and reviews to contribute to product development and improvement initiatives.

• Pass a pre-employment drug test

• Have your own vehicle with a restricted or full license

You may also be required to submit a criminal history check with the Ministry of Justice.
