Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology department here at Wairau Hospital where we offer a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, CT Scanning, Ultrasound and Mammography. 

The full-time equivalent salary range for MITs working 40 hours a week is $63,356 to $87,038 (Steps 1 to 7) based on the current Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC.

You will be a positive, friendly, and supportive team player with a good sense of humour and have:

  • sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography.
  • strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • a passion to deliver high-quality healthcare and keen eye for detail.
  • the flexibility to work a Mon-Sun rotating roster with on-call.

On-call will be required from 11.00pm to 7.00am on rostered shifts.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
