About the Team/Service/ Location
A team working in a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) service operates in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment where precision and patient care are top priorities. Technologists work closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnostics.
About you
- Hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate or have applied for registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board
- Experienced, approachable, and professional with a team-based approach
- A natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike
- Be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
- Highly adaptable, motivated and efficient
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
