Location: Ratonga Rusa O Porirua Campus, Porirua
Service: Intensive Rehabilitation - Tane Mahuta
Contract: Permanent Pt=T - ( 0.93 FTE) Rostered and Rostation - 4 days on , 2 days off
Salary: PSA Nursing MECA - $59,024 - $74,442

Mental Health Support Workers work closely alongside the nurses supporting and providing support for Tangata Whai ora working towards their recovery.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
Tane Mahuta is an open rehabilitation mental health unit for up to 34 clients within Te Korowai Whāriki Rehabilitation Service. This is a regional innovative supportive service working with clients in supporting their journey with a multi-disciplinary team approach.

-You can make a difference
-You have energy and the ability to think on your feet
-Are a team player
-Have excellent communication skills
-Can work under direction and delegation of the registered nurse
-Understand recovery and strengths based models and empowering Tangata Whai-ora through on-going supportive education
You must also hold:
-A relevant L4 MHSW certificate
-Meet police vetting requirements
-A full NZ Driver License
-Experience working in Mental Health settings
