About the Role

Are you a dynamic MRI MIT with a current APC in Diagnostic Imaging & MRI?

We are looking for an MRI MIT to support both the MRI service and general x-ray for the Lakes region.  The advertised position is at Rotorua Hospital which has a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T Magnet installed November 2016.  With an upgrade to the XA60 platform and DRB in 2024. The Department offers a full range of head, body and musculo-skeletal MR imaging.  The General X-Ray Department is fully equipped with Siemens DR & analogue / DR unit as well as Fluoroscopy, Theatre, GE CT, Siemens MRI, and Ultrasound services. The Department has three DR rooms, two DR mobiles and a Flat Panel C-arm for Theatre. We have an in-house CPD programme as well as support for external CPD.

 

About you

 The successful candidate

  • Will be working across the MRI suite and general x-ray with the ability to participate in the on call x-ray roster and Saturday MRI sessions.
  • Must have an MRTB registered MRI Scope of Practice
  • Must have an Annual Practising Certificate for Diagnostic Imaging and MR.

Salary range

$107,622 to $121,686 pro-rated to hours worked
