MS Defender Consultant / Expert

The Microsoft Defender Security Technical Consultant will be heavily involved in driving all things MS Defender within this enterprise environment
 
Key responsibilities:

Prioritise the most effective device, operating system and identity controls across large, diverse and complex environments, consistently.

• Help assign, coach and assist a team of engineers to deliver these controls
• Coach and assist operational teams to deliver these controls
• Remove technical blockers to control implementation

Communicate and effectively engage with stakeholders, especially around:

• current state and progress of control coverage
• the value of the controls to protecting the organisation from attacks
• the most effective and least impactful way to implement controls

Key capabilities/experience:

Understanding and deep operational experience with device security requirements, controls and capabilities especially in the following areas:

• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (Attack Surface Reduction, next-gen endpoint protection, EDR)

Understanding and deep operational experience with identity security requirements, controls and capabilities especially in the following areas:

• Microsoft Entra Id
• Defender for Identity
