THE COMPANY:
A leader in their field, this privately-owned Health and Beauty company manufactures, imports and distributes their world-class products to companies across NZ and Australia.
THE ROLE:
The primary focus of the Sales Manager is to increase sales by driving revenue growth through sales and service activities. The role will focus on core elements of professional and modern sales management and service delivery. It is a busy, varied and hands on role which will involve travel throughout New Zealand. Accountability for growth and development of sales and service performance is paramount to the success of this position.
Short term goals will include the support and development of our sales team focusing on implementation of key marketing and growth objectives. A strategic sales plan, linked to KPIs for the team is an essential step in this process.

- A fast paced and diverse role and industry requiring high levels of resilience and multi-tasking
- Leading and managing a team of strong individuals (7 Sales staff throughout NZ) with many serving many years' service with the company.
- Maximising sales whilst meeting management objectives
- Developing robust and professional relationships, both internal and external
- Managing a diverse range of tasks including leading, selling, developing, and facilitating sales training and implementing marketing initiatives
- Maintaining a dynamic and innovative approach to all areas of sales. Thinking and creating "outside the box"
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has proven experience in a similar role, managing a Sales team based across NZ
- Has a hands-on management style and leads by example
- Is passionate about establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
- Strives for continuous improvement and is always looking for ways to improve process and service
- Has an eye for numbers and for detail
- Is organised, methodical and has excellent time management
- Prior experience in the Health & Beauty or FMCG industries is advantageous but not essential
