The Opportunity
This position will support the physical health and addiction treatment access of tangata whaiora and whanau who are seeking OST and AoD treatment. Treatment models include both harm reduction and abstinence based interventions in support of whanau led goals and inside the principles of recovery capital. Knowledge and skills within NAOTP, SACAT and prescribing medications of dependence are essential and the salary will be within the Nurse Practitioner range as per the MECA to reflect the experience of the applicant.
Clinics are across all MHAS localities (Tararua, Horowhenua and Manawatu) with liaison and review required inside HSS for allocated whaiora - so the applicant must have an understanding of the flexible and responsive nature of care delivery within the service.
