Nursing Manager - Aged Care Facility

Lowie Healthcare is looking for experienced Nursing Manager for an Aged Care facility in North Shore, Auckland.

• $45 - $60 an hour, depending on experience
• Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week
• Fixed term, Full-time work (Rotating roster that may include occasional weekends and night shifts)

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise nursing staff: scheduling, training, and evaluations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and aged care standards
• Implement nursing policies and collaborate to enhance resident care
• Oversee and ensure effective execution of resident care plans
• Maintain accurate records and foster a supportive work environment

The ideal candidate will ideally have:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with BSN required; MSN preferred
• 5+ years of nursing experience in NZ, 2+ in a leadership role, preferably in aged care
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and aged care standards
• Proficient in EMR systems with excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced environment
