About the Role
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is looking for a dedicated Occupational Theraist to join the Allied Health team at Whakatane Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to work across acute rehabilitation, emergency and inpatient wards (medical, surgical and paediatric).

About you
- Experience in rehabilitation and acute inpatient/hospital settings is preferred
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively
- Excellent clinical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
You will preferably hold accreditation for enable funding in personal care, household management, and basic housing. Wheeled mobility and postural support level 1 would be an advantage.
