Type: 12-month Fixed term (parental leave cover)
Hours: 40
Salary: Salary range $61,072 - $76,000

About the role
The Office Coordinator is responsible for delivering administration, coordination, and support services across the Ministry. Office Coordination resources will be allocated and managed centrally by the Director Corporate Services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate
- Previous successful experience in a fast paced, high demand team administration role or PA role.
- An understanding of, and ability to establish credibility with New Zealand's ethnically diverse and inter-faith communities.
- The ability to prioritise workloads, and negotiate deadlines in the face of competing demands, and to work independently.
- An innovative approach and a commitment to improve systems and processes.

About us
The Ministry for Ethnic Communities is the Government's chief advisor on ethnic communities, ethnic diversity, and the inclusion of ethnic communities in wider society. We have four key functions;
- We provide advice to the system;
- We develop the evidence base;
- We broker conflict and convene stakeholders to resolve issues; and
- We foster a sense of belonging.
