Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

As an Orderly Supervisor, you will be providing visible leadership and be the main point of contact for all staff in the Orderly Service whilst ensuring that a high-quality service is always provided, including identifying and implementing improvement opportunities. 

You will be responsible for the direct line management of 25 Orderlies including the recruitment, retention, training and setting excellent orderly service standards.

You will participate in staff performance management including spending some time on the floor monitoring team performance and providing coaching as needed. You will be confident to conduct annual appraisals, provide feedback and assist in developing career goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience working as part of a busy team
  • Been involved in implementing service improvement
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain high standards at all times
  • Ability to motivate a team and be able to work with people at all levels of the organisation

You will be required to be based in Auckland at the time of application, and hold New Zealand citizenship, residency or have an open work visa.
