Job Description

We are looking for and experienced or trade qualified painter for one of our valued clients.

This role is for an experienced, ideally trade qualified, painter/Decorator and will involve working on various worksites. The work includes surface prep, roller and brush work, and other associated tasks, including interacting with clients to achieve a great result.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be living in NZ to be considered for this position.

Duties:

  • Preparation of surfaces
  • Roller and brush work
  • Leading a small team if experienced
  • Other associated painting and decorating tasks
  • Engagement with customers and other team members

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced or Trade qualified 
  • Basic tools of trade and transport helpful but not essential
  • Reliability and work ethic a must!
  • High standard of workmanship and a commitment to safe work practices
  • Foreman experience ideal, or leadership ability
  • Friendly professional manner
  • A pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and MOJ check may be required.
